About Me
IMG_20180614_140736_edited.jpg

I work privately with individual young people, families, schools and local authorities across the South West, including Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.

I qualified as an Educational Psychologist (EP) in 2011 and have been practising now for over 7 years.

I spent 5 years working for the Borough of Poole and a further year working for Bournemouth Council as a local authority Educational Psychologist before making the decision to work privately. I have been working privately since 2016.

I had lead roles during my local authority work as the ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) Coordinator which involved training up and supervising ELSAs working in schools, the lead EP for SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) and the link EP for working with the Youth Offending Service (YOS).

I have a background in primary school teaching and working for the Youth Offending Service preventing anti-social and offending behaviour in young people. I have spent my entire professional life working within the education system with young people and families.

I am registered as practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am also a member of the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP).
